About The Program

The Nexus Startups Hub, one of the premier business incubators in New Delhi, will conduct a workshop for innovative “green” startups on June 5-6, 2022.

The Startups Combatting Climate Change Workshop is designed to support ambitious and innovative entrepreneurs by enabling them to transform their business venture into a sustainable enterprise and connect with the leading American and Indian corporates working to mitigate the impacts of Climate Change. The program will enhance the entrepreneurial and managerial skills of these entrepreneurs leading early stage ventures.

The program consists of a two-day workshop organized in New Delhi for 25 entrepreneurs, with a focus on startups whose technologies will positively impact the environment by reducing waste or promoting renewable energy.

The workshop will begin on World Environment Day (June 5, 2022) in conjunction with the World Environment Expo 2022 and the
World Environment Conference 2022, and will be held at Pragati Maidan, in the heart of New Delhi. One top startup will be invited to the Nexus pre-incubation program.

Our curriculum is designed to equip the participants to enter the challenging climate change/green energy industry, grow their business and attract outside funding. Besides the business training, the program will provide peer-to-peer learning, collaboration opportunities, mentor-mentee connects and networking among the participants, all in a supportive atmosphere run by the premier startup incubator in India.

The Startups Combatting Climate Change Workshop is being conducted by the Nexus Startup Hub in partnership with the U.S. State Department, ACIR and outreach partner, KPMG in India.
